There are times when he hides in a sleeping bag to keep warm if his mates are not around. He has to keep a tumbler with hot soup close because he gets queazy when he doesn't have something in his tanks. As the carry progressed, his colds become more frequent and he's achy, needing to be held and cuddled. He didn't think when he sparked that he would be so easily sick. And he pushes his mates away because he doesn't want to get them sick either and that makes him really weepy and lonely and in a big need of a hug that won't stop. Ratchet won't get sick--so he's tried to tell Roddy, answer when he lifts sleeping bag and Roddy into his lap, Roddy can't find it in him to protest, only whiny that he's uncomfortable and his frame is being mean. Rodimus goes and models new lingerie from each new line. All of it looks spectacular on him and he knows it but his favorite is when he models the newest toys in stock. Or when he gives customers demonstrations of the toys. Oh, you like the clitoral vibrator? Lemme show you this little tidbit to make overload come quick and good. Yes. I don’t know but I was walking to class when I started to think about it. Imagine that Rodi came from a small high school in Nyon. He was in The Wrecker Squad (please don’t hurt me, but hear me out) and Kup sends out a letter of recommendation to College of The Lost Light. Rodi doesn’t know about it until Kup goes up to him and tells him to read his mail. It’s then he realises that he’s going to a high up and well known university. Just imagine the chaos that would ensue. He get’s his dorm assignment and it’s with Rung. (Rodi doesn’t think too much about who he is generally; Rung’s always reading when he gets there.) Drift is an junior while Ratchet is a senior (and is so done with everyone’s shit and his own since med student). Maybe the dorm monitor is Magnus? It sounds like something he’d do. Honestly, while I was walking to the library I got this awkward idea. Maybe Rodi gets his first heat in class and he’s getting twitchy and he’s trying to focus but he’s starting to run hot...

I’m so disconnected to the discourse in fandom to notice that there were people hating on dratchet. Okay, cool story bro but stay off my lawn? I like Dratchet, and I like DriftRod. I also love the unfortunately almost unspoken of DRatchRod. (And RatchRod, chaos and I dig it.)
